ERA Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 4, 2026

ERA (“ERA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit joinera.co, request a demonstration, create or access an ERA account, participate in a beta or trial, or otherwise use ERA’s websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, company or organization, job title, account information, communications with ERA, demo requests, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.

When you use ERA, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages or features accessed, timestamps, login activity, session information, referring URLs, and interactions with the Services.

If ERA uses cookies or similar technologies, those technologies may be used to operate the Services, maintain sessions, understand product usage, improve performance, prevent fraud or unauthorized access, and analyze how users interact with ERA.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve ERA; authenticate users and manage account access; provide demos, trials, and beta access; communicate with you regarding ERA; respond to inquiries and support requests; understand how the Services are used; develop new products and features; detect fraud, misuse, security threats, and unauthorized access; enforce our Terms of Use; comply with legal obligations; and protect the rights, property, and security of ERA, our users, and others.

For example, your existing time-boxed access system can legitimately record login/access activity for authentication, security, trial administration, and abuse prevention. If you’re collecting that data, disclose it—which this draft does.

3. Communications

If you request a demo, trial, beta access, or other information from ERA, we may use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate with you about ERA’s products and services.

You may opt out of promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in those communications. You may still receive transactional or service-related communications.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate ERA, including providers of cloud hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, analytics, security, and other infrastructure.

These providers may process information on our behalf to provide their services to ERA.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; enforce our agreements; protect ERA or others; or facilitate a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.

ERA does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.

5. Third-Party Services

ERA relies on third-party technology and infrastructure providers to operate the Services. Those providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to ERA.

Third-party websites or services linked from ERA are governed by their own privacy policies, and ERA is not responsible for their privacy practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer accounts and trials, maintain security and business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it.

The FTC recommends businesses collect and retain only information they actually need and retain it only as long as necessary.

7. Security

ERA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

However, no internet-based service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

To submit a privacy-related request, contact us at the email address listed below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

9. Children

ERA is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

COPPA imposes specific requirements where an online service is directed to children or knowingly collects children’s personal information, so explicitly positioning ERA as a professional/B2B product is sensible.

10. International Users

If you access ERA from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where ERA or its service providers operate.

Those jurisdictions may have data protection laws different from those in your country of residence.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to ERA, our practices, technology, or applicable law.

When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
